You can hide it using CSS Overrides , please add the below code in CSS overrides section:

Please replace "x-custom-space-health-space" in the following code, with the class used for the space you want to hide the activity ticker for:

.x-custom-space-health-space .axero-activity-ticker
{
    display:none;
}

To get the class for your space, please follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Right-click on the activity stream page of the space.
2. Click on inspect element.
3. You should get the class name in the body tag.
