You cannot attach an image to a button. And a content list widget will only link directly to the content that is shown. You could however use the Raw HTML widget and do something like the following.

Note that the files link will already include your communifire homepage. For example if you had that link here to this case, you would only link "/spaces/77/communifire-support/cases/case/31865" not the full address including my.axerosolutions. 

This way you can also easily customize the size and style of the image you are adding.
