You can embed Google Drive into Communifire. This allows you to provide a list of documents for people to click and launch into the Google Drive.
You will first need to create a new page using the Communifire Page Builder . From there, choose your layout and then drag and drop a Rich Text widget onto the page. Double click on the widget to open the properties window. Give the widget a title, such as Google Drive Files, or any title you prefer. In the Rich text section, click on the Source code icon.
In the window that opens, copy and paste the following HTML code.
<div><iframe width="100%" height="450" src="https://drive.google.com/embeddedfolderview?id=0B0Uwm8HOGR3xZmwxUmNiLWtGQTg#list" frameborder="0"></iframe></div>
In Google Drive, navigate to the folder that you would like to display in Communifire. Replace the bold string in the above code with your own unique string from Google Drive.
Click the Save button to close the source code editor.
Then click Save Widget.
Then click Publish Changes.
Then click Go to page.
You should see your list of documents in Google Drive. It will look something like this:
Note: To see the list of files, you and your users must be logged into Google Drive and have permissions/access to the folder that you embed. If you are not logged into Google Drive and/or do not have access to the folder, you will not see the list of files.
is it possible to have a open link added to pagebuilder in a private/closed community allowing all users of that specific space/community to see and use the files?? Withou the need to log in into google drive..??
and how have you added the side window in the screenview above with "create new documents"???
